Christmas

Thank Your Volunteers with Christmas Heart Ornaments!

Leadership / Volunteers //

Christmas is just around the corner and as I was browsing Pinterest I found an idea for a sweet smelling ornament which would make a simple, yet sweet-smelling ornament to give volunteers! It just uses applesauce and cinnamon – the reason it is sweet-smelling – and a little time to make dozens of heart ornaments!

Just follow this link and you’ll find complete directions. Gather some non-volunteers and meet at your church kitchen for a few hours of baking and making these little ornaments . . . they are sure to bring a smile to your volunteer’s faces!

I’ve been invited to teach some workshops at an area Sunday School convention in the Spring – one workshop will be on appreciating volunteers . . . I’ll have to include this idea for sure!
