Five Phrases We Should Finish Every Day

Family / Leadership //

I have been thinking for a while now about the little things we could do to make a big difference to those we touch every day. This includes our kids, co-workers, friends and those we don’t know but brush by during our daily activity.

How can we get our hearts and heads around living out what God put in? I think an easy reminder for each of us is below. Simply finishing the phrases could put feet to our faith and make a difference in us as well as those around us. With that in mind here are 5 Phrases We Should Finish Every Day.

1. Today I am thanking God for…

Always be thankful. Colossians 3:15b NLTse

2. Today I am showing courage by…

Be strong and courageous. Deuteronomy 31:7b NLTse

3. Today I am serving someone by…

serve the Lord enthusiastically. Romans 12:11b NLTse

4. Today I am exercising my faith by…

it is impossible to please God without faith. Hebrews 11:6a NLTse

5. Today I am encouraging someone by…

So encourage each other and build each other up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLTse

Now, if five phrases a day is to many then how about one each day and take the weekend off? I would love to hear how you are living out these phrases each day. Leave a comment so we can cheer each other on!
