Don’t Forget February 15th!

Holidays / Teaching Techniques //

Yes, February 15th is just a few days away and it is a very important date, so mark your calendars and get ready for the 15th! Why you ask? Because February 15th is the day after February 14th and February 14th is Valentine’s Day! February 15th, besides from these obvious things, is the day all the Valentine’s Day candy goes on sale! Just stop and think about all the things you can do with heart-shaped candy . . . if you have it! You could . . .

  • Give heart-shaped candy to your volunteers to thank them for all they do!
  • You could use heart-shaped candy in object lessons!
  • You could use heart-shaped candy in games!
  • You could give heart-shaped candy to children to remind them of how very much God loves them!
  • You could have heart-shaped candy on your desk – how cool would this be to be a children’s ministry person with heart-shaped candy on their desk all year?!!!
Whatever reason, February 15th is just a few days away and it is when heart-shaped candy goes on sale! So, plan to swing by the store on your way home Sunday and stock up!
